I’m a free-lance midwife and attend pregnancy, birth and postpartum for women, couples and families in greater Berlin.
Together with my colleague Gerlinde Skupin I offer courses near the Schlachtensee.
My field of activity covers the following spheres:
- consultation, check-ups and assistance with difficulties during pregnancy
- care and assistance with risky and breach pregnancies
- childbirth classes
- acupuncture
- home birth
- postpartum check-ups and nursing consultation
- care for adoptive families during the first eight weeks after the adoption of a baby
- postpartum exercise classes
I trained in classical midwifery and obstetrics through the Neukoelln Hospital in Berlin, but my current work is mainly naturopathic.
I am also trained in acupuncture in birth assistance certified by the German Midwife Federation (BDH) and am expanding my practice to include homeopathy and phytotherapy.
In every case I consult the woman and couple to decide which kind of therapy is best.
